Bulle, Switzerland, July 2026 — The International School of Choueifat – Muscat (ISC-Muscat) proudly made history as the first team to represent Oman at the H2GP World Finals, held in Bulle, Switzerland, during Swiss Hydrogen Week.
Representing the school as an all-girls team, five students competed against teams from more than 20 countries in both the Stock Race and the Girls in STEM Race. Throughout the competition, they demonstrated determination, teamwork, and resilience while gaining hands-on experience in hydrogen-powered technology and sustainable engineering.
Beyond the races, the students collaborated with peers from around the world, exchanging ideas on engineering, vehicle design, and racing strategy. A memorable highlight was the Cultural Exchange Evening, where they connected with an all-girls team from the United States, celebrating cultural diversity and building lasting friendships.
The team returned to Oman inspired by the experience and eager to apply the knowledge they gained to future competitions. Their achievement demonstrates how passion, teamwork, and a willingness to learn can open doors to exciting international opportunities, while inspiring the next generation of female engineers, scientists, and innovators.
